Coin Coin Productions has been forging its artistic and cultural project since 2005 through the accumulation of decisive experience in the worlds of art (popular and scholarly), institutional teaching (artistic and academic) and French cultural policy, and by frequenting the alternative & associative milieu of civil society. Our demanding artistic creations are built on multidisciplinarity and intercultural dialogue, including relationships with countries on the African and Latin American continents.
Coin Coin Productions is an association that organizes its governance by combining professional and voluntary involvement in a development that falls within the scope of the social and solidarity economy (SSE). It is constantly evolving its VSE (Very Small Enterprise) organization in increasingly complex and tense economic, political and sectoral contexts.

Coin Coin Productions was founded in 2005 to support Antiquarks, made up of Richard Monségu (vocals, drums, percussion) and Sébastien Tron (hurdy-gurdy, piano, vocals), two improvisers and performers on stage and in the public space, who have notably composed and created as a duo (Moulassa), quartet (Cosmographes, Fraternity), sextet (Antiquarks feat. Pura Fé, Bal Interterrestre, Kô), for orchestra (Ciné- Concert Duel, Lord Baryon, Etaplasma) and for dance (Lune bleue).
Revelation at Printemps de Bourges 2007, Antiquarks has performed over 1,000 concerts in more than 15 countries, while at the same time investing in the field of transmission and local cultural action, with mediation projects between participative creation and pedagogy of creation, conferences and workshops.
Their work was recognized with the “Prix de L’Audace artistique et culturelle” in 2014 awarded jointly by the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Ministry of Education.
Run and managed from the outset by Sarah Battegay, the Coin Coin Productions association took a new step forward in 2015 in its structuring as a Social Solidarity Economy (SSE) company, in particular by rolling out a training offer for cultural professionals(FORMASSIMO).
The association has acquired premises in Lyon’s 3rd arrondissement, and is pursuing its territorial anchoring in the city by carrying out artistic and cultural actions with the population, such as the Afriquarks project as part of the Défilé de la Biennale de la Danse in 2020/21, and the “Gargancola et la Brise de la Pastille” project in the 8th arrondissement in 2022.
Combining professional and volunteer dynamics, Coin Coin Productions has weathered the COVID pandemic with “resilience”.
